Spring & Summer of '07 ASI got out of the gate early and started paving on April 14th at the New Haven Landfill. Even though we hit a stretch of bad weather, we completed the project on time and produced a high quality product. The customer was very pleased.
The project cost was in excess of $200,000.00, consisting of milling, repairing, and providing an asphalt overlay on the existing roads of the landfill. Polymer asphalt was used to ensure additional strength and durability.
ASI recently started and completed the removal & replacement of an existing parking lot at the Oakland County DPW facility. This $300,000.00+ project work scope included the following.
Removal of existing asphalt
Removal of existing subgrade
Proof-rolling the subgrade
Installing edge drain
Placing a new aggregate base and 4.0” of asphalt.
