Yemane Gebre-Michael
CEO
Yemane has served in executive roles for organizations in the public and private sectors with over 25 years of experience in executive leadership, P&L management, operations, sales, corporate strategy and partner management. He also has expertise in operations, marketing, sales strategy, and operational optimization. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver and a B.A. in Business Administration from Langston University and lives in Rochester with his wife Phyllis and twin girls Alem and Asmeret.
Daryl Kaiser
CFO
Daryl brings extensive financial leadership across industries like construction, manufacturing, and real estate. Before joining ASI, he served as CFO of American Roads and held leadership roles at Rocket Mortgage and national accounting firms. A CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Walsh College, Daryl specializes in financial strategy, process improvement, and shareholder value growth. He enjoys traveling, cycling, and time with his wife, Amy, and their daughter, Lexy.
Craig Mattson
VP, Operations
Craig is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and has worked for ASI since 2016. He has held various positions within the operations division of ASI, including project manager, construction scheduler, head of project management and director of operations. His responsibilities as VP of Operations include overseeing all construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while leading teams and managing strategic initiatives
Marc Navetta
VP, Customer Engagement
Marc is a construction and civil engineering professional with over 26 years of experience. He holds degrees in Political Science, Pre-Law, and Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan. With expertise in asphalt industry standards, material testing, MDOT & municipal specifications, he has held roles from Civil Engineer to Director of Project Management. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, skiing, and sports, particularly baseball, football, and lacrosse.
Keith McLean
GC / CCO
Keith brings over 15 years of experience in the construction and real estate industries. With a background in economics, philosophy, and law, he holds a BA and JD from the University of Notre Dame, equipping him with a strong foundation in business strategy and legal oversight. He plays a key role in ensuring ASI Paving operates with integrity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Outside of work, Keith enjoys golf and cheering on Notre Dame Football. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Maureen, and their two sons, Daniel and Michael.
Tony Allen
VP, TKMS & Lou’s
Tony brings over two decades of experience to TKMS and Lou’s, where he has risen through the ranks from gravel train driver to Vice President. Along the way, he served as a dispatcher and spent several years successfully managing operations at Lou’s. In his current role, Tony leverages his deep industry knowledge and hands-on leadership style to help drive continued growth and success for both companies.
Outside of work, Tony is a dedicated husband and proud father of two. He’s an avid golfer, a passionate Detroit sports fan, and enjoys spending time with family up north and relaxing on the lake.
