Yemane has served in executive roles for organizations in the public and private sectors with over 25 years of experience in executive leadership, P&L management, operations, sales, corporate strategy and partner management. He also has expertise in operations, marketing, sales strategy, and operational optimization. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado in Denver and a B.A. in Business Administration from Langston University and lives in Rochester with his wife Phyllis and twin girls Alem and Asmeret.

Doug Howell

COO

A Detroit native and alumnus of Detroit Country Day and Ferris State University, Doug has over 35 years in the asphalt and construction industry. He has been a key part of ASI’s growth since joining in 1990, rising through the ranks from laborer to foreman, project manager, and operations director to COO. With a strong focus on strategy, efficiency, and client satisfaction, Doug continues to drive operational excellence. He enjoys photography, boating and Alabama Crimson Tide football.

Daryl Kaiser

CFO

Daryl brings extensive financial leadership across industries like construction, manufacturing, and real estate. Before joining ASI, he served as CFO of American Roads and held leadership roles at Rocket Mortgage and national accounting firms. A CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Walsh College, Daryl specializes in financial strategy, process improvement, and shareholder value growth. He enjoys traveling, cycling, and time with his wife, Amy, and their daughter, Lexy.

Keith McLean

GC / CCO

Keith brings over 15 years of experience in the construction and real estate industries. With a background in economics, philosophy, and law, he holds a BA and JD from the University of Notre Dame, equipping him with a strong foundation in business strategy and legal oversight. He plays a key role in ensuring ASI Paving operates with integrity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Outside of work, Keith enjoys golf and cheering on Notre Dame Football. He lives in Michigan with his wife, Maureen, and their two sons, Daniel and Michael.

Marc Navetta

VP, Customer Engagement

Marc is a construction and civil engineering professional with over 26 years of experience. He holds degrees in Political Science, Pre-Law, and Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan. With expertise in asphalt industry standards, material testing, MDOT & municipal specifications, he has held roles from Civil Engineer to Director of Project Management. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, skiing, and sports, particularly baseball, football, and lacrosse.

Tony Allen

VP, TKMS & Lou’s

Tony has dedicated over 21 years to TKMS and Lou’s, progressing from a Gravel train driver to Vice President. Along the way, he gained experience as a dispatcher and managed Lou’s for several years. A Dale Carnegie graduate, Tony continuously hones his leadership and communication skills. As Vice President, he applies his industry knowledge and hands-on approach to drive success for both companies. He is a devoted husband and father of two, an avid golfer, soccer coach, and fan of Detroit sports. He enjoys spending time on the lake and with family up north.
